The “Surgical Camp 2016” took place in January / February in Asha Vihar.

For this purpose 10 competent employees from Bremen, Oldenburg, Berlin and Vienna flew to Asha Vihar to 20 children, mainly for club feet and knee deformities (31 operations) on 5 days of surgery. They sacrificed 10 days of their vacation and mostly paid for their own flights.

The program was organizationally and medically difficult and accordingly burdensome. But with discipline and corps spirit the team compensated well.

We would like to give you some insight into the nature of surgery, treatment successes and the cost of procedures. Get an idea of the great and valuable work of the team. Twenty children tell the team, but especially all donors: “Thank You”! Through your commitment and that of the surgical team, these children can now “run” into a new and disability-free future!
