After a long and fruitful collaboration, our previous president Neha Sha has unfortunately resigned from her position in order to give a new, young generation the opportunity to influence the future of the Peace Bird Society.
We would like to thank Neha Di for her trusting and tireless commitment to the Peace Bird Society and to the people in and around Asha Vihar. She was always a great support in all areas of Asha Vihar. Neha Sha has put her full strength and dedication into it, especially for the children of Asha Vihar, but also for the many people who are in need of help. She has stood by us through all the ups and downs, with a straight back and full of courage.
We are extremely grateful that Neha Sha will continue to support us as a member and that we can benefit from her positive energy.
The leadership committee and the members of the Peace Bird Society unanimously elected a new president in a meeting yesterday, who has the full trust of all members.
Simoti Kumari has been a part of Asha Vihar since she was a child. She knows the aims, duties and problems of the Society and those we want to help very well. As a qualified BSC nurse and with an MBBS degree in the pipeline, she is the perfect person to represent the Peace Bird Society.
We are very much looking forward to our future collaboration and to her influence on our work, not least in the clinic.

All present members are electing unanimously the new President.
